This policy explains what information PriceMaxxing (“we,” “us,” “our”) collects when you use our website and services, why we collect it, and how we protect it. We keep it plain-language on purpose.
1. Who we are
PriceMaxxing is a done-for-you pricing-optimization agency. We build and operate a dynamic price-testing engine on a client’s own data. This policy covers our marketing website and the services we provide to clients.
2. Information we collect
- Information you give us directly. When you request a pricing audit or contact us, we collect the details you submit — such as your name, email address, company, website, and anything you tell us about your business.
- Onboarding information. If you become a client, we collect the business and technical details needed to run the engine, which may include access credentials to your systems. Credentials are encrypted at rest and used only to deliver the service you’ve engaged us for.
- Usage and analytics data. Our own first-party analytics record how visitors interact with the site — for example page and section views, clicks, scroll depth, time on page, referral source, approximate device/browser type, and a randomly generated session identifier. This is collected using our own systems, not sold to advertisers.
- Advertising data. If you reach us through an ad, our advertising partners (such as Google) may pass along information about which ad or keyword referred you so we can measure campaign performance.
3. How we use your information
- To respond to your request, schedule and run your pricing audit, and communicate with you.
- To deliver, operate, and improve our services for clients.
- To understand how our site and campaigns perform, and to improve them.
- To keep our systems secure and to comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information.
4. Cookies and tracking
We use cookies and similar browser storage (for example, session storage) to remember your session, run A/B tests of our own site copy, and measure site performance. If you arrive from an advertising partner, that partner may also set cookies subject to its own privacy policy. You can control or clear cookies through your browser settings; some site features may not work as well if you disable them.
5. How we share information
We share information only with:
- Service providers that help us run our business (for example hosting, database, email, payment, and analytics infrastructure), under agreements that limit their use of the data to providing those services.
- Legal and safety recipients when required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of PriceMaxxing, our clients, or others.
- Business transfers — if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may transfer as part of that transaction.
6. Data storage and security
We store data with reputable infrastructure providers. Sensitive information such as client access credentials is encrypted at rest. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information and limit access to it.
7. Data retention
We keep information for as long as we need it to provide our services and for legitimate business or legal purposes. When it is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it. You can ask us to delete information you’ve provided (see Section 9).
8. Third-party links
Our site may link to third-party websites and services. We are not responsible for their privacy practices; please review their policies.
9. Your choices and rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information you’ve given us, or to stop contacting you, by emailing [email protected]. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws; we’ll honor those rights as required.
10. Children
Our services are for businesses and are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their information.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be reflected here.
